Perched on a rocky escarpment overlooking the Seneffe valley, the Ecaussinnes-Lalaing kitchen garden has been flourishing for centuries in the micro-climate created by the walls that shelter it.
Created in 1720 by Félicien-Antoine van der Burch, abandoned after the sale of the castle in 1854, and then remade by Count Adrien van der Burch in 1930, this garden is currently being restored. It is a classified monument.
